How To Fix iOS 8 WiFi Issues on iPhone using WiFried Tweak - People around the world are currently using iOS devices running on iOS 8 - iOS 8.1 reported that they were going through some problems when using Wi-Fi. For those of you who recently experienced problems with internet connection when the iPhone is connected to the wifi, it could be a similar problem which is also experienced by other iPhone users when they have updated to iOS 8. WiFried lets you enable / disable AWDL / AirDrop. The Setup AWDL / AirDrop, given through WiFried, because according to the developer, feature that causes interference with the WiFi.






What is interesting to note, OS X users Yosemite also experiencing similar problems. As was the case in iOS 8 devices, WiFi problems in OS X Yosemite also related AWDL. sudo ifconfig awdl0 down

To reactivate AWDL, use the following command:

sudo ifconfig awdl0 up
